陈志远（1950—2011），台湾最早的作曲和编曲大家，有"音乐怪博士"之称。与陈大力、陈秀男、陈乐融、陈耀川合称"五陈"，先后任飞碟唱片和丰华唱片音乐总监。上世纪80年代，当流行歌曲的编曲还未受重视时，陈志远对编曲的探索使其成为台湾流行音乐界第一代编曲大师。常常一人包办王杰、齐秦、黄舒骏等人专辑的全部编曲，成名更早、作品更经典。曾著有《再回首》、《梅花三弄》等经典，与小虎队、王杰、苏芮、张雨生等都有过合作。王杰的《是否我真的一无所有》、苏芮的《跟着感觉走》、林忆莲的《爱上一个不回家的人》等歌曲的旋律都出自陈志远之手。王杰、苏芮、张雨生的早期主打歌几乎全部是陈志远的作品。2003年荣获台湾第14届金曲奖"最佳编曲人奖"(《时间的滋味》)。2008年荣获台湾第19届金曲奖"特别贡献奖"。
