郭兰英（1929年12月生—），山西平遥人。中国著名女高音歌唱家，晋剧表演艺术家，歌剧表演艺术家，民族声乐教育家，被称为"一代宗师"。她六岁开始学唱晋剧，七岁在太原开化寺戏园初次登台，十一岁随戏班到太原市演出。先后演出过《李三娘挑水》、《秦香莲》、《天河会》、《二度梅》、《金水桥》等一百多部传统戏剧，在戏曲表演方面初露头角，享誉塞外剧坛。二十世纪四五十年代开始在全国走红，她因演出大型民族歌剧《白毛女》而一举成名，其后不断在演唱界刷新纪录。她演唱的《南泥湾》、《绣金匾》、《翻身道情》、《我的祖国》、《人说山西好风光》等上百首经典歌曲在全国广为传唱。她演艺精湛，嗓音甜美，音域宽阔，吐字清晰，行腔富于韵味，演唱水平极高，十分具有浓郁的中国民族歌唱特色，为中国民族新歌剧和现代民歌演唱艺术的创立与发展作出了开拓性、历史性的重大贡献。曾荣获中国首届"金唱片奖"、首届中国电影音乐特别贡献奖、中国歌剧表演艺术终身成就奖、第七届中国音乐金钟奖终身成就奖等。2009年国庆六十周年之际被评为"新中国60年文艺界十大影响力人物"之一。
