何训田（1953—），四川遂宁市人。著名作曲家，音乐新语言开创者，上海音乐学院教授。一九八一年创立"三时说"和"音乐维度论"；一九八二年创立"RD作曲法"，是中国当代第一部作曲法；一九九五年开创了国际唱片史上在全球发行第一张中文唱片的历史，创作的《阿姐鼓》、《央金玛》等唱片全集在全球八十多个国家出版发行，销量数百万张；一九九六年创立"结构流作曲法"；一九九七年创立"空隙论"；二〇〇三年完成人类第一部献给所有物种的元音乐《声音图案》；二〇〇八年完成人类第一部前意识音乐《一訸上歌》。获得"1989－90美国国际新音乐作曲家比赛/唯一/杰出音乐成就大奖"等十五项国际作曲奖；获得"第三届全国音乐作品评奖/一等奖"等十三项国家作曲奖；获得"第四届梅赛德斯国家精神造就者"等多项国际国内的荣誉大奖。国际华纳、朔特音乐等多个国际出版机构在全球出版发行他的作品；英国BBC交响乐团等数十个乐团为他的作品在全球作世界首演和演出；纽约时报、时代周刊、华盛顿邮报、泰晤士报、BBC、ABC、CNN、NHK等全世界数千家新闻媒体和学术刊物评述了他的作品、作曲技法和创作思想。他的理论和作品被誉为"具有划时代意义"，"无法在西方文献中找到蓝本"，"最具个性的中国作曲家"，"他的音乐出现标志着中国有了自己的音乐学派"，纽约时报称他"帮助中国人实现了让其音乐走向世界的理想"。传略被编入《新格罗夫音乐与音乐家大辞典》。代表作品有：《阿姐鼓》、《央金玛》、《天籁》、《声音图案》等。
