金铁霖（1940年6月21日—），出生在哈尔滨，满族。中国著名歌唱家，声乐教育家。毕业于中央音乐学院声乐系，曾任中央乐团独唱演员，1996年至2009年9月担任中国音乐学院院长。从1981年开始民族声乐教学的探索，通过多年的教学实践，他逐渐摸索出了一条适合民族唱法的教学道路。他就像一位音乐魔法师，一经他的精心指点，一个个音乐新人迅速成长，并能在不太长的时间内成为家喻户晓、享誉全国的明星。如李谷一、彭丽媛、董文华、汤灿、宋祖英、张也、李丹阳、阎维文、刘斌、吕继宏、戴玉强、张燕、祖海、胡薇、王丽达、朱之文（大衣哥）等；香港歌星黎明、李嘉欣等也曾拜他为师。他们不但在中国无人不知，还把中国民族声乐推向了国际舞台，让全世界都认识到了中国音乐文化底蕴和中国声乐艺术的独特魅力。此外，他教授的学生中，还有声乐教学人才400余名，很多都成为各艺术院校的教学骨干、学术带头人，不少人还成为知名的声乐教育专家。
