李谷一（1944年11月10日—），出生于云南省昆明市官渡区，15岁考入湖南艺术专科学校。1961年至1974年，作为湖南省花鼓戏剧院主要演员，成功地塑造了20多个不同时代、不同性格的年轻姑娘形象，因主演《补锅》一剧拍成电影而成名，曾受到毛泽东、周恩来的亲切接见。1974年至1984年，调入中央乐团担任独唱演员。李谷一是建国后华语乐坛的开创性人物，在国内首倡通俗唱法，贡献之大只有华语乐坛的歌后邓丽君（中国台湾）可以与之比肩。李谷一本是湖南花鼓戏演员，后调入中央乐团担任独唱演员，在50多年的从艺生涯中她演唱了700多首歌曲，其中40多首歌曲在海内外广泛流传，如《知音》、《乡恋》、《边疆的泉水清又纯》、《妹妹找哥泪花流》等。1986年她创建中国轻音乐团并担任团长。1988年被美国传记协会列入《世界杰出人物录》。1996年获美国ABI协会颁发的"世界艺术家成就奖"。
