刘德海（1937年8月13日—），出生在上海。琵琶演奏家，教育家，在国内外享有盛誉。1960年首次演奏吕绍恩创作的《狼牙山五壮士》，在内容和技术技巧上，对传统乐曲有了较大突破,大大提高和丰富了琵琶的演奏技巧，对现代琵琶演奏艺术起到了很大的推动作用。1973年和吴祖强、王燕樵合作创作了琵琶协奏曲《草原小姐妹》，首开琵琶大型协奏曲之先河。1975年，首次演出了经他改编后的《十面埋伏》，大获成功。从此人们不知不觉的就把《十面埋伏》和他的名字连在了一起。之后与美国波士顿交响乐团、西柏林交响乐团合作演出，使琵琶艺术走向国际音乐舞台。他的演奏技术娴熟、自如，表演深刻、细腻又洒脱，富于激情。曾改编《浏阳河》、《倒垂帘》、《远方的客人请你留下来》等曲目，参与创作《狼牙山五壮士》、《草原小姐妹》，创作了《天鹅》、《老童》等技巧出新的乐曲，发表有论文多篇。
