吕其明（1930—），出生于安徽无为。杰出的交响乐作曲家，电影音乐作曲家。以其管弦乐序曲《红旗颂》、交响叙事诗《白求恩》等一批大气磅礴的交响乐杰作，开一代先河，奠定了他在中国音乐史上不可撼动的地位。他先后为《铁道游击队》、《红日》（合作）、《白求恩大夫》、《霓虹灯下的哨兵》、《庐山恋》、《城南旧事》、《雷雨》、《子夜》等六十余部故事片和十余部纪录片作曲，并为《秦王李世民》、《向警予》等电视连续剧、广播剧作曲。其中《城南旧事》的音乐创作于1983年获第三届中国电影金鸡奖最佳音乐奖；《庐山恋》的插曲《啊，故乡》和歌曲《你应当留下什么》获全国优秀歌曲奖。其它音乐作品还有交响乐《郑成功》（与人合作）、交响诗《铁道游击队》、随想曲《霓虹灯下的哨兵》以及《弹起我心爱的土琵琶》、《谁不说俺家乡好》（与人合作）等歌曲三百余首。
