马友友（1955年10月7日—），大提琴演奏家，为法国出生的华裔美国人，曾多次获得"格莱美奖"。马友友曾为多部电影音乐配乐，其中包括布莱德?彼特主演的电影《西藏七年》，李安导演的《卧虎藏龙》。美国东部时间2009年1月20日，马友友在美国总统奥巴马的就职典礼中演出。作为思想家型的马友友，在他与全球知名乐团合作演出、个人独奏会及室内乐演出的过程中，借着与音乐家之间的互动，他力求超越单一音乐风格的界限。他最大的目标就是将音乐化为一种可以相互沟通的语言，跨越世界不同种族，拉近人与人之间距离。为达成此目的，他更投身研究国乐、中国传统乐器、非洲卡拉哈利的丛林音乐等。评论家认为马友友"无所不奏"（omnivorous），比一般的古典音乐家更为兼容并蓄。马友友非常重视与小听众的接触，经常参与到音乐教育的各种活动中来，并鼓励青少年多多接触音乐，思考音乐和创作音乐。
