石祥（1939—），河北清河人。1956年毕业于河北省清河县中学，后在清河县小屯中学任教，1958年应征入伍，历任战士、班长、排长，北京军区战友歌舞团专业创作员、政治部文艺创作室主任。著有诗集《兵之歌》、《新的长征》、《骆驼草》，长篇报告文学《幕后珍闻》(合作)，词论集《月下词话》，歌词集《战斗的歌》(与刘薇合作)、《日月星》，配乐朗诵诗《周总理办公室的灯光》等。曾为驻香港部队创作军歌，为庆祝建国35周年大型纪录影片《国庆阅兵》和庆祝建国50周年大型文献纪录片《世界大阅兵》撰稿并写解说词，获军内外奖。歌词《十五的月亮》获解放军第二届文艺大奖、第一届当代青年喜爱的歌一等奖，《八一军旗高高飘扬》获解放军第二届文艺大奖，《高举亚运火炬》被选为第十一届亚运会会歌并获全国传播奖。他是一位有代表性的军旅诗人和歌词作家。
