谭咏麟（1950—），生于香港。1960年代末为Loosers乐队成员；1973年任温拿乐队主音歌手；1975年参演首部电影《大家乐》，1979年赴台湾发展拍摄电影，同年推出首张个人专辑《反斗星》。1981年他凭借电影《假如我是真的》获得第十八届台湾电影金马奖最佳男主角奖。1984至1985年初推出的专辑《爱的根源》、《雾之恋》、《爱情陷阱》被誉为"爱情三部曲"， 1984至1987年连续四届夺得香港十大劲歌金曲"最受欢迎男歌星"奖以及香港十大中文金曲IFPI大奖。1996年获得香港乐坛最高荣誉大奖金针奖，亦是一位分别以歌手以及乐队成员身份两次拿到"金针奖"的香港歌手。2003年与李克勤组成"左麟右李"组合。从艺40多年来，谭咏麟创作的歌曲近九十余首，他作曲的歌曲多次获得"十大中文金曲奖"、"十大劲歌金曲奖"等荣誉；2007年获得CASH音乐成就大奖；同年获香港特区政府颁受荣誉勋章。2014年获得IFPI香港流行音乐文化歌手大奖，以表彰他对香港音乐创作及华语乐坛的贡献。代表作品有《爱在深秋》、《爱的根源》、《雾之恋》、《爱情陷阱》、《讲不出再见》、《水中花》有情。

Winner of the 2014 IFPI Hongkong pop music singer award, in recognition of his contributions to Hongkong music and Chinese music.
