任英荣，中国音乐文学学会常务理事、云南省音乐家协会会员、云南省音协音乐文学学会副会长兼秘书长、昆明市音协合唱协会常务理事。创作歌词500多首及部分音乐评论文章、诗歌等，200多首歌词发表于《词刊》及全国各省市歌词刊物中，历年来获全国及各省市作品及演唱奖共70多次，并出版《山花烂漫》歌词集、《飞歌彩云南》歌曲集及《青春飞歌彩云南》作品CD专集两合集，并于2009年于云南省文化馆"艺术客厅"及大理永平举办了"腾飞中华、祝福家乡"作品音乐会，得到了社会各界的高度赞扬。并于2011年荣获云南省文化厅、省委宣传部等十家单位主办的云南省敬老爱老主题教育活动中评为老有所为劳动模范。2008年度、2012年度两次被中国艺术家协会云南组委会授予云南省"德艺双馨"艺术教师光荣称号。
