胡自强，男，1942年9月生，青海省湟源人，汉族，大学本科学历。中共党员。西北师范大学音乐学院钢琴教授，硕士生导师。甘肃省音协理事，省国际文化传播交流协会常务理事。中国音乐家协会会员，中国音乐美学会会员，中国国际文学艺术协会会员，中央文化部聘定的全国钢琴业余考级高级考官（评委）；中国音乐学院钢琴考级高级评委；中国音乐家协会全国社会艺术水平考级委员会钢琴考级教官，任期五年；2010年连任第二届学术委员。
