周世良，艺名甘草，武汉长沙人。2007年5月在《歌曲》上发表作品《牧场之春》。2008年7月全国第三届校园歌曲大赛中作品《蒲公英》获二等奖。2010年7月在"感动中国•全国第五届词曲大赛"中《黄土地的儿女》获二等奖，2012年出版CD。2011年5月《口唱山歌脚上坡》入选"颂歌献给党征歌"前30名，并入集出版录制CD出版。2011年10月《安塞腰鼓》获"大众音协——2011音乐中国大型活动"银奖。2011年《奔月》获"唱支颂歌给党听"全国原创音乐•歌手赛二等奖。2012年4月《傣家金孔雀》全国第二届"民族之声"征集金奖。2012年8月《青春同窗》获"2012•青春•中国"全国征评金奖。2012年10月《红颜》获"2012音乐•中国杯"大赛银奖。从1959年始至今共创作歌曲150余首、乐曲6首，获全国性征歌赛二等奖以上8首，入集出版5首，录制CD出版3首，在电台、电视播放8首。
