吴家治，上海人。1976年7月，首次发表歌曲《治淮大军进行曲》（吴家治词）。1982年参加上海市工人文化宫音乐创作组，创作《腾飞吧祖国》（贾立夫词），《祖国的春天多么美好》（朱烁渊词）两首歌曲参加1983年"上海之春"音乐会演出。2012年创作歌曲《和谐西藏》（茂戈词）获第三届"民族之声"金奖；创作歌曲《父母情》（党永庵词）获第三届"中国杯"作曲金奖；创作歌曲《我的中华》（季新山词）获"感动中国"金奖，并制作MTV；创作《向春天致敬》（汤昭智词）、《梦回故乡》（李铮词）、《海上升明月》（李庆文词）三首歌曲在"2012全国群众创作歌曲展评活动"中获金奖，创作《不曾忘记，不能忘记》（张枚同词），《站在黄河母亲身旁》（于平词），《水乡水甜甜》（胡传经词），《走在春天的前面的人》（汤昭智词）四首歌曲在"2012全国群众歌曲展评活动中获银奖"。
