金园钦，湖北武汉人。中国音协武汉分会会员，曾任二届理事。1958年创作"武钢大合唱"获湖北省一等奖，全国优秀奖后作为中国文化交流节目，由莫斯科格林卡音乐学院全章演出，全国广播电台广播。1959年作品送选参加全国十周年青年成就奖。曾亲自指挥中央交响乐团演唱武钢大合唱。1960年作为湖北省代表出席全国第三次文化会，受到毛主席接见。指挥千人大合唱，在人民大会堂为毛主席演出。2011年创作"辛亥风云组歌"获"民族之声"金奖。2012年创作"人民公仆"获2012中国杯大赛金奖。
