黄宝珠，北京人，幼年投亲来到江南小镇太仓。自幼喜爱音乐、文学、体育。第一首谱曲《小鹰之歌》在初中困难时期以激励自己而作。文革时期远离喧嚣，只身往上海考入工总司文艺宣传队，在那里一年多，对各种乐器都有心得，并学写、编、演、收获颇丰。六八年下乡插队，为农民扫盲，自学中医，搞文娱活动。七五年独生子女返城，分到太仓中医院，工作需要安排到口腔科，从零开始，自学习加虚心请教，一个月后上岗，一年后已成了太仓第一名女牙医。八一年又考入口腔专科学校就读两年。八五年，与另三位音乐爱好者组建"音乐会社"，迄今已成太仓最大的来自各行各业的百人合唱团，多次赴南京参加比赛，两次捧回金奖，至今活跃在社会上，影响力极大，声誉很高。2005年退出。九十年代，以写相声、小品、杂文活跃医院的文娱活动，自编、自导、自演，每演必奖。退休后动笔写了《自传》、小说《猫妹》；又写了些诗歌、论文、杂文。
