陈兆雄，笔名陈波，湖北江陵人。从事土木工程，副总工。从小爱好文学，二十岁左右多有通讯、报告文学、小说、散文、诗歌发表，散见于书刊杂志。后因忙于指挥大型工程施工，动笔渐少。次后被调入中央大型企业办公室、机关政治部兼担任文学期刊主编。曾主编《钢铁战歌》（报告文学）、《我为祖国走天下》（诗歌集）、《输电尖兵》（连环画）全国发行。退休前后又任水利部主办的《水政水资源》期刊杂志责任编辑工作。现系武汉作家协会会员，湖北省作家协会会员，中国大众音乐协会、中国音乐文学学会会员。2012年被湖北作家协会编入本省《作家词典》；2012年《感动中国》新创歌曲歌词选拔组委会拟推选作者担任出版编辑委员。《我眷恋的小鸟》获中国2011年全国优秀词曲作家作品"银奖"（中国文联出版社出版，国内发行）；《在紫藤树下》获2012年《中国之春》（俄罗斯民歌）（精品金奖）中国广播电视出版社出版发行；《让爱绽放在春天》获"2012青春•中国"全国青少年题材音乐作品"金奖"。
