郭家义，男，汉族，1942年生，中共党员，大专学历。中国音乐著作权协会会员，中国大众音乐协会会员，云南省音乐家协会会员。

2000年开始诗词创作。先后出版了《心歌》、《高原水乡恋歌》两本专辑。《云南汉子》、《叶子花》、《笑对三百六十五天》、《老夫老妻》等7首在《词刊》登载；《春风荡漾》在中国民族歌曲原创大赛中荣获"金歌奖"；《奔向和谐幸福》荣获2007年第八届"北极星群英杯"全国词曲创作笔会"特别奖"；《自从有了你》荣获"2013美丽中国大型音乐展演活动"全国总评金奖；《抚仙湖的涟漪》在2014北京国际青少年音乐节作品征集评选中，荣获歌词创作金奖；《压岁钱》在"儿歌爷爷杯—全国第二届少儿歌曲创作大赛"中荣获一等奖；《云南杜鹃花》在2014年亚洲国际艺术节全国声乐、器乐作品征集活动中荣获创作金奖。
