1993年参加玉溪市教育局举办的卡拉OK大赛三等奖。
1996年在云南省第二届音乐教师聂耳杯独唱、独奏、独舞比赛中获独唱、独舞两个三等奖。
1999年在玉溪市红塔区中小学音乐教师课堂教学竞赛中获二等奖。
2004年在玉溪市红塔区中学音乐教师五项教学技能竞赛中获一等奖第一名。
2006年被玉溪十六中学认定为骨干教师。
2005年12月，论文《中学教师教学的任务》在云南省教育科学研究院、云南省教育学会理论刊物专业委员会举办的2005年教育科研论文竞赛中获二等奖。
2006年12月，论文《谈新课程背景下的音乐课堂教学》在云南省教育科学研究院、云南省教育学会理论刊物专业委员会举办的2006年教育科研论文竞赛中获三等奖。
2007年12月，论文《教师道德素养养成之我见》在云南省教育科学研究院举办的2007年教育科研论文竞赛中获三等奖。
1999年，作品《奔向明天》参加红塔区教育局征集各校的校歌征集，被发表在红塔区教育委员会、红塔区文联和红塔区文化局编写，云南教育出版社出版的《聂耳故乡校园歌曲集》上，该作品也成为大营街二中的校歌传唱至今。
在2006年2月云南省教科院、云南省教育学会音乐教育音乐教育专业委员会举行的“云南省教师及学生音乐作品评选活动”中，作品《深情的母爱》获二等奖。
2008年7月，作品《明天的栋梁》在中国大众音乐协会举办的“全国第三届校园歌曲、歌词、音乐教案、论文大赛”中获二等奖，该作品被发表在《校园歌声》2010年第一期。
作品《梦想依然美丽》在中国大众音乐协会、北京浩歌行影视广告有限公司、“2008相约北京”大型系列音乐活动组委会、音乐人杂志社举行的“2008相约北京”大型系列音乐活动中获歌曲创作银奖。
2008年11月歌曲《风流北京》在第九届“北极星群英杯”全国词曲创作笔会评比中获歌曲创作银奖。12月，作品《母爱》在“感动中国——2008全国第二届新创歌曲、歌词大赛”中获二等奖。
2009年4月，作品《祖国啊，祖国》获“2009年中国杯全国歌曲创作”金奖。
2009年《风流北京》发表在《音乐人》第7期。
2009年11月，作品《中国节日》获全国歌曲创作银奖。《母爱》在第十届“北极星群英杯”全国歌曲创造笔会评比中获歌曲创作银奖。
《大爱无声》获“2009，歌坛在行动”全国词曲创作比赛中获歌曲创作优秀奖，并发表在《中小学音乐教育》2009年第十二期上。

本人自参加工作二十多年以来辅导了许多喜欢音乐同时又在音乐方面有潜力的学生，为艺术院校输送了一批又一批的音乐人才。
