李志诚，男，湖南人。本人于65年8月毕业于湖南大学，自小酷爱音乐，遗憾的是，未能走音乐之路。本人于64年起，通过对李焕之老师在音乐期刊上连载的音乐知识，怎样写作群众歌曲等系列文章的学习，基本掌握了作曲技巧，于六十年代在学校、在社会上为部门、为他人、为社会创作了多首歌曲，深受好评。后来因工作性质等原因，很长时间很少涉及音乐活动，很感遗憾！退休后，有了时间，也有精力，投入音乐创作行列，先后为本地各部门，各系统创作多首歌曲，在当地有较大影响，但很少考虑参加各种比赛，近几年，参加几次全国性音乐赛事，均获"金奖"！获2014"建国杯"中国民族音乐大奖赛词曲金奖，2013全国群众歌曲演创大赛"金奖"（志愿者之歌）。2014年同一赛事获金奖（音阶广场午曲）等等！
