陈东红（1954-），出生于重庆。曾供职于武汉音乐学院音乐研究所、四川音乐家协会音响技术研究所、成都理工大学传播科学与艺术学院；13岁学钢琴，16岁学小号，19岁进交响乐团，25岁学成于四川音乐学院作曲系。指挥作品有《费加罗婚姻序曲》（莫扎特）、《春节序曲》（李焕之）、《杜鹃山》等；歌曲作品有《会飞的村庄》、《妈妈的歌》、《新娘鸟》、《海南颂》等，管弦乐作品有《海韵》、《爱的奏鸣曲》、《钢琴交响诗——新娘鸟》、《嘻哈也交响》等；发表主要著述有《黑格尔音乐本质说质疑》（西安音乐学报）、《歌曲旋律美随想》（中国音乐）、《<国语>音乐美学思想述略 》（中国音乐）、《异质同构-音乐语言的形态 》（广西艺术学院学报）、《形象新论》（当代文坛）等。迄今不仅坚持30余年音乐艺术创作探索，也致力于"健生音乐"机理研究及其创作，不仅获有"一种生频共振音乐体感智能化应用系统及其处理方法"发明专利，而且从音频声学、音乐学、生命科学的交叉角度揭示了音乐与生命体的影响机理，并在此基础上发明了健生音乐"五律法"作曲原则，为人体及其动植物频率共振音乐创立了健康与安全标准，对现代音乐治疗、音乐养生（如音乐胎教）、音乐种植、音乐养殖等发展具有重大意义。是世界上为数不多的"音乐+声学"两栖人才。
