赵淑蓉，1957年7月中等师范学校毕业，一直从事学校教育工作直至退休（1994年3月）。

退休后（1993年9月至1996年7月）坚持就读中国音乐函授大学直至毕业，自那以后至现在创作歌曲（主要是谱曲）160多首。印歌曲集第一册。

2001年9月至2003年7月就读中国书画函授大学，毕业后继续花鸟、山水研修班，均已结业，成绩优异，被评为优秀函授学院。2001年以来已有20幅绘画作品参加文化部、教育部、全总、中国书画函授大学等单位在北京举办的老年书画展并获奖。
