孙承骅，浙江绍兴人，1953年入上海音乐学院附中小提琴专业，师从聂耳（国歌曲作者）的小提琴老师王人艺教授，1961年以三好学生被保送直升本科管弦系。1979年回母校作曲系进修。1965年在部队文工团期间以优秀共产党员身份出席空军表彰大会，受毛泽东主席、周恩来总理、邓小平总书记等中央领导接见合影。先后任湖南省歌舞团创作组长、江苏省歌舞团团长、音协江苏分会理论创作委员、室内乐协会理事，南京小红花艺术团艺术顾问等，1991年被海南省委任命为湖南省歌舞团团长。现为中国音乐家协会会员、江苏省歌舞剧院终身艺术指导。
