刘勇，男，1962年7月生，医学本科（重医79级）、医学硕士（重医94级心血管病学）、心理学大专毕业。四川省自贡市第三人民医院主任医师，四川理工学院、成都中医药大学、四川医科大学教授、硕导。
任国家医学考试中心专家委员会委员及专家、国家心血管病专科医师考官，四川省卫生职称高评委，省有突出贡献的优秀专家，省中西医结合、亚健康、行为医学专委会委员，自贡市杰出创新人才、自贡市学术技术带头人、市中西医结合专委会主任委员、市心血管病专委会副主任委员、市内科学专委会副主任委员、市医学会理事及各类专家委员会委员，科研、新技术成果奖28项，参编或主编专著6部，已在70种以上刊物发表学术论文260多篇。被人民日报以《活跃在医学多学科领域的"高产专家"》加以报道和表彰。擅长心脑血管疾病、内科疾病诊治和研究，擅长教学、培训、大众健康传播和医学软科学研究。
在科研、论文写作方面有真知灼见，已经举办全国、全省科研论文培训班各7期，也是多家期刊的编委和特约审稿人，系国际医院管理杂志、国际心脑血管病杂志、中华医学会中华临床医师杂志（电子版）、检验医学与临床等期刊编委和审稿专家，系生物医学工程与临床杂志特约编委、中国误诊学杂志编委、慢性病学杂志编委、四川理工学院学报特约审稿人、中国全科医学杂志特约编委、自贡医药编委及英文摘要审稿人。
