郭钧，云南大关人，中国大众音乐协会会员，中国音乐文化促进会会员，云南省音乐家协会会员，昆明音乐家协会会员。担任过中学音乐教师，文工团副团长，合唱团团长，艺术顾问等职。

1957年昆明师范学院艺术科音乐版毕业，后又进修中央党校函授学院党政专业。1959年发表处女座《两山同唱一支歌》。创作歌曲（合作）100余首，在省级以上音刊和专辑上发表40余首，著有个人原创歌曲选集《情寄云之南》（即将出版），有10余首在全国各种赛事中获奖，公演。

《澳门，1999》（李红林词）由昆明金江合唱团，一二一合唱团，盘龙老年大学合唱团，在省电视台，省合唱协会和各大舞台公演；

《老松》（钺生词）获广东省珠海市首届天平杯文艺汇演创作奖，刊于《当代歌手喜爱的歌》第13辑，由珠海乐之岛艺术团演唱；

《多情的丽江》（曹永庆词），获感动中国全国首届新创歌曲一等奖；

《烟雨漓江》（吕翠仙词）获文艺之春中国民族歌曲高端选萃金奖，由金江合唱团演唱，中国音乐家协会歌曲编辑部编印出版；

《红嘴欧之梦》（耿鸿江词）获全国第三届校园歌曲创作比赛一等奖，贵州省贵阳市《校园歌声》发表。
