本人出生于内蒙古呼和浩特市，曾做过演员，音乐教师，法官，现在是一名职业音乐人兼词作者，也是一位歌者。内蒙古音乐家协会会员。1979年19岁时创作了二弦独奏曲《好酒飘香》，并在内蒙广播电台播出。近年来我创作的声乐作品30余首，诗歌散文几十篇，代表作《阿爸的勒勒车》歌曲获得了内蒙古室内乐大赛二等奖，2016亚洲国际音乐节歌曲创作银奖。《幸福花儿开》《带去我的思念》MV均在内蒙古电视台播出。《阿爸的勒勒车》《梅花颂》发表在内蒙古《草原歌声》刊物中。诗歌《故乡回望》发表在呼和浩特日报。2016年创作的《凤凰楼》作为乌兰察布城市宣传风光片的主题歌在电视台滚动播出并参加乌兰察布的春晚即将播出。2015年我作为嘉宾参加了在北京鸟巢举办的《2016时尚盛典暨时尚春晚》。2016年担任第五季《中国好声音》全国城市海选内蒙古赛区的评委。
