铁民，67岁，社会活动家，音乐教育家、中国合唱家协会理事，词作家，作曲家、中国民主促进会会员/中国音协/北京音协/中国大众音协/中国音乐文学学会/中国音乐著作权协会会员。吃过野菜咽过糠，体味了知青生活，理解了人生沧桑，参加工作后唱过戏练过腔，上了大学后也曾看到了阳光，黄土高坡上有我难忘的故事和悲欢凄凉，百姓吃的什么穿的什么心里想的什么音容笑貌永远在我脑海中回荡。返城后长期从事音乐教育教学及外语教育教学几十年，培养出的学子桃李满天下。四十余年所创作的词曲作品数百首，几十首发表在《歌曲》，《词刊》，《音乐天地》，《中国乐坛》等国家级和省市级音乐期刊及报端。座右铭:先做好人再做好事！努力为人民群众的文化艺术活动奉献一滴水！
