本人原为部队文工团演员，演过独唱、表演唱，歌剧、话剧、节目主持等。受到黎信昌老师、王淑英老师的教授与指导。后改演样板戏,有幸受到李丽芳老师、杨春霞老师的教授与指导。曾在现代京剧《海港》中饰演方海珍，在《杜鹃山》中饰演柯湘，下部队演出数百场。后因文工团撤编而转行。但我对歌唱艺术的追求从未放弃，退休后更有所施展。十多年来，参加北京众多文艺团体的演出数百场，多次参加军队驻京大单位的演出。演唱主要曲目:现代京剧选段《家住安源》、《红梅赞》、《咏梅》；京歌《梅兰芳》、《故乡是北京》、《我的中华》等。 2013年10月，获第三届全国老年人才艺大赛最高奖"风华奖"；2014年7月，获北京市海淀区艺术节歌曲比赛一等奖；2015年2月，经层层选拔，参加了首都文明办"精彩北京人"春晚节目录制。此外，在本市各类歌唱比赛中还多次获奖。
