邓小染，1980年出生于四川省中江县，现任教于浙江省湖州师范学院艺术学院，作曲理论教研室主任。1998年，进入四川绵阳师范学院音乐学院（原师专音乐系）开始系统的音乐学习，先后毕业于中国音乐学院（师从高松华教授）和韩国江原大学艺术大学师从김현옥교수(金贤玉教授)，获硕士学位。

2004年，中国音乐家音像出版社出版发行作品专辑《简单世界》

2006年，《从洞经音乐的嬗变看音乐的社会功能》发表于《文教资料》

2006年，于中国湖州举行个人作品音乐会

2007年，《高师电脑音乐的教学现状和对策研究》发表于《文教资料》

2007年，《风花雪月话江南》发表于中文类核心期刊《音乐创作》
