1975年7月毕业于新疆伊犁师范学院艺术专业（音乐、美术专业）。进修于原北京师范学院、原中央工艺美术学院。系中国展示设计协会会员，中国工艺美术学会会员。
从1975年 7月起，先后在新疆伊犁师范学院、新疆伊犁第二师范等院校任教，音乐专业教授职称。
2015年9月被文化部中华文化促进会北京文化艺术培训教学基地聘为音乐艺术专业教授。
2016年8月被黑龙江大学艺术学院聘为音乐艺术专业教授。
现任广州戈西文化发展有限公司教研活动中心主任。
歌曲创作: 2012年创作双语歌曲《加格斯·美丽的伊犁》（汉语、哈萨克语）、回族歌曲
《回族姑娘美》、锡伯族歌曲《锡伯人家》。
2013年创作歌曲维语、汉语双语歌曲《美丽的伊犁河 》、《古老的童谣》、《美丽的克孜巴郎》、《阿爸的手鼓》。
2014年创作双语歌曲《亚克西伊犁》（汉语、维吾尔语）、《阿帕的小摇车》。2015年创作《我的家乡在伊犁》、《伊犁酒歌》、《漫漫清水河》等多首歌曲。
近年来，和有关专家一起挖掘整理、编译出哈萨克族原生态民歌七十多首（准备编辑出版）。
2013 年11月带领新疆伊犁州伊犁河艺术团赴湖南省长沙市，参加“ 舞动社区 —— 第六届全国社区健身舞蹈汇演 ”活动，表演的歌伴舞“可爱的一朵玫瑰花 ” 荣获金奖、创作奖、优秀组织奖。
2014 年10月带领新疆伊犁州伊犁河艺术团赴北京, 在北京中国民族文化宫大剧院参加“炫舞辉煌--2014全国优秀群众舞蹈展演”活动,表演的民族歌舞《亚克西 · 伊犁》荣获特等奖和创作奖。
编写教材：2006年编写电子琴教材《电子琴教学曲选60首》（一、二册）。
2007年编写钢琴教材《幼师简谱钢琴教学曲选》（一、二册）。
2009年编写电子琴教材《民歌电子琴教学曲选》（一册）。
2011年编写钢琴教材《钢琴弹奏方法指南》（一册）。
2012年编写幼师教材《幼儿歌曲钢琴弹唱》（一册）。
2014 年编写《中老年电子琴简谱曲选》，已由北京图书出版社出版。
2015年完成《手风琴简谱演奏教程》、《电子琴简谱演奏教程》的编写工作（准备出版）。
2016年完成《新疆民歌新编选集》、《儿歌简谱弹唱》、《钢琴简谱基础教程》的编写工作（准备出版）。
个人荣誉：个人成就已被《世界名人录》（中国卷）、《二十一世纪人才库》和《世界优秀教育专家名典》以教育专家和艺术专家的身份编录出版。
