陈佛新，系广东省兴宁市公安局副科级干部（退休）。喜爱音乐，有一定的音乐素质。退休后，自学歌曲创作知识，先后创作歌曲50余首。去年有13首作品在全国发表，获金奖2首、银奖4首、铜奖4首，佳作奖3首。

1962年8兴宁师范学校毕业，1962年8月——1971年10月当教师，1971年11月——2005年5月，兴宁市公安局干部，2005年6月退休在家。
