赵传奇，山东省微山县人，1981年来新疆，1986年进县毛纺厂工作，2001年毛纺厂破产下岗后进了社区联防队，负责社区的治安工作，已退休。现系中国音乐文学学会会员、中国音乐大众协会会员、中国音乐著作权协会会员、中国国际声乐艺术研究会创作委员会会员、委员。从小喜欢音乐，爱好唱歌，自学音乐理论中专音乐课程和高等音乐理论知识，1989年开始创作至今，创作了200多首歌曲，获得许多奖项。2010年7月《祝福世界越来越美好》被"相约上海"全国歌曲歌手大赛评为铜奖（由名人出版社出版发行喜获铜牌和荣誉证书）。2012年4月词曲《百姓赞歌》荣获第二届"民族之声"全国音乐词曲大赛作品类铜奖。
